FlochLabels Privacy Policy

Effective July 4, 2026

FlochLabels is a Shopify app that prints barcode labels for inventory transfers, purchase orders, and CSV imports. It is built to hold as little data as possible. This page describes everything the app stores and why.

Data we store

For each store that installs FlochLabels we keep:

• The store's .myshopify.com domain.
• A Shopify API access token, issued by Shopify at install, used solely to read the data needed to render labels and to manage billing.
• The store's current plan and monthly label-print counts (a single number per month, used to enforce plan limits).
• Install and uninstall timestamps.

Data we access but do not store

To render labels, the app reads products, variants, barcodes, prices, and transfer/shipment details from the Shopify API at the moment you use it. Generated label PDFs are streamed to your browser and are not retained on our servers.

Data we never collect

FlochLabels does not collect, store, or process any personal data about your customers — no names, addresses, emails, or order histories. The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics trackers.

Billing

All charges are handled by Shopify through your existing Shopify invoice. We never see or store your payment details.

Data deletion

• Uninstalling the app immediately invalidates and removes our copy of your API access token.
• When Shopify sends the shop/redact webhook (about 48 hours after uninstall), all remaining data for the store is deleted.
• Because we hold no customer personal data, GDPR customers/data_request and customers/redact requests are acknowledged with nothing to return or erase.

Where data lives

Data is stored on encrypted volumes hosted by Fly.io in the United States. Access tokens are used only for server-to-Shopify API calls and are never exposed to browsers or third parties. We do not sell or share any data.
